Peace River Jordan (Jordanian Company) welcomes you to Jordan, the ancient land of the Bible and the central part of the Holy Land where Christianity was born. It is here in Jordan, the land of miracles, where many interpretations claim that the story of Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden is located in an area along the north eastern bank of the River Jordan known as the Jordan Valley. Jordan’s Bibical history begins in the book of Genesis, “… And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw that the Jordan Valley was well watered everywhere like the garden of the LORD” (Genesis 13:10).

It is here in Jordan where the pages of the Bible come alive and God first manifested Himself in the Bibical Land of Jordan through the words of Abraham, Job and Moses, appearing to them in the form of whirlwinds, a cloud of light, an angel, or a voice that commanded them to do his will. It is only in Jordan, the land graced by the prophets, that you can experience extensive Biblical history dating back to God’s creation, throughout the Old and New Testaments and where the lives of Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, Elisha, John the Baptist, and Jesus Christ are closely connected.

In the New Testament period, northern Jordan was the region of the Decapolis (ten cities in Greek), where Jesus taught and performed miracles (Matthew 4:25; Mark 5:20). The New Testament records that, “… there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis and from Judaea and from beyond Jordan” (Matthew 4:25). All the Decapolis cities except for one are located today in northern Jordan, on the eastern side of the Jordan River Valley.

Peace River Jordan invites you to Jordan the home of the original Christians which is placed firmly in the genesis of human faith on earth, to experience Jordan’s rich archeological and Biblical legacy in this special land that will always be peaceful as decreed by God. “He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon (Present Day Jordan) will be delivered from his hand.” (Daniel 11:41)

The divine spirituality and overwhelming serenity experienced at the Jordan River where Jesus Christ was Baptized, and where the pages of the Bible come alive is unparalleled anywhere else on earth. Being at the Baptism Site of our Lord Jesus Christ, provides us with a sense of peace, as if this special site is a ‘haven’ of the Holy Spirit and God’s presence is strongly felt at the Jordan River, the ‘River of Life.’ Many pilgrims are overcome with emotion, spirituality and a sense of serenity they have never witnessed before.

For this reason, Peace River Jordan is dedicated to offer you the experience of receiving the ‘Gift of Peace’, the Jordan River Holy Water, the only remaining substance that Jesus Christ touched over 2000 years ago, making it a source of blessings to all mankind in remembrance of Jesus’ earthly life. Peace River Jordan is certified by the Baptism Site Commission and works along side the Church to ensure the authenticity of the Holy Water from the Jordan River where Jesus Christ was baptized. Peace River Jordan empowers local artisans and women to bottle the Holy Water from the Jordan River using locally sourced materials from the land of the Bible. At Peace River Jordan we offer a complimentary gift from the Jordan River to all believers around the world.
